More often programs are transmitted in

the 16:9 picture size and can be viewed

on the HD-Vision without restrictions or

distortions. The display setting „Optimal 16:9“

guarantees, apart from the representation of

16:9 programs, also an ideal display of 4:

programs. After selecting the picture size

"Optimal 16:9", the 4: picture signals are

edited and optimised in such a way, that these

are displayed as a full picture and without

distortions.





... or if you would like to see all broadcasts in 16:9,

even if they are transmitted in 4:...



... or would always like to see the aspect ratio as intended

by the stations during the broadcast.


